Accredited Certificates
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
A globally recognized standard for experienced security professionals. It is aimed at security managers and leaders and requires at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight CBK domains, which include Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations and Software Development Security.
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
For IT administrators, network security engineers, and security analysts with hands-on technical security responsibilities. It requires at least one year of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the seven CBK domains, such as Security Concepts and Practices, Access Controls, Risk Identification, Monitoring and Analysis, Incident Response and Recovery, Cryptography, Network and Communications Security and Systems and Application Security.
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
is a qualification given by EC-Council and obtained by demonstrating knowledge of assessing the security of computer systems by looking for vulnerabilities in target systems, using the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of a target system. This knowledge is assessed by answering multiple choice questions regarding various ethical hacking techniques and tools. The CEH certificate also demonstrate essential knowledge for identifying weaknesses from an attacker's perspective.
Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)
